It’s been long a time I heard about a robbery of this sort but this past Wednesday, a group of thieves walked into an Apple store and walked out with iPhones worth $13,000, and nobody saw them.
This smartly undertaken robbery happened in an Apple store in a shopping mall in Natick, Massachusetts, USA. A group of seven individuals made up males and females are reported to have carried out the highly orchestrated robbery whiles hiding their identities as best as they could. By the police report, the said individuals, wearing hoodies and hats walked into the Apple store and walked into the store and surrounded the area of the store where the iPhones were on display. They maneuvered to cut off the security cords and went out of the store with 19 iPhones.
Interestingly, the thieves were very smart and disciplined. The entire operation, from start to finish took only 126 seconds (2 minutes, 6 seconds), how fast they were to steal iPhones, which per the Natick Police Department were worth in excess of $13,000.
The interesting end of this story is, the suspects fled out of the scene on foot and despite all the extensive search, they were still not found. Even though the suspects are still at large, it is believed that the same group have some connections with a similar robbery at an Apple store in another location a few weeks ago.
