Just as humans, keeping your Smartphone ‘healthy’ is very essential to ensure snappy performance and a phone that will last long. The irony however is that often times we tend to use our smartphone roughly without knowing it.
This post will try to outline some of the various ways we harm our smartphones without having a clue.
1. Using App Killers :
App killers may sometimes be useful especially when you are trying to free some RAM space for a more snappy performance. This is mainly because app killers ensure you don’t have unnecessary apps running on the background.
However, app killers may sometimes increase the load time of some frequently used apps. This is because when you open an app some patch of it are saved on the RAM thus ensuring that the next time you minimise and reopen the app it will load faster. An app killer will prevent this by deleting the patch or cache from the RAM.
2. Using Multiple Antivirus :
Mobile Antivirus softwares are necessary for smartphone security. However, having multiple Antivirus softwares on your Smartphone may drain your battery and even data. This is because Antivirus apps run on background and does a lot of activities on the background.
3. Using your phone while charging :
This is something most of us are guilty of. When charging your Smartphone, using it makes your phone get hot and could damage your battery.
4. Using outdated apps:
There is no doubt, the Android operating system Is highly vulnerable to security threats. For this reason, Android app developers are constantly updating their apps. Not flowing with the latest version of any app will most definitely leave you exposed to hackers.
5. Not restarting your Smartphone :
If you are a kind of person who is often glued to your Smartphone you are probably guilty of this one. Yes, your Smartphone may never complain if you don’t restart it but doing so actually helps it run faster. When you restart your phone you are indirectly freeing more space on the RAM and giving the phone some seconds to ‘breathe fresh air’ which is quite good.
