You’ll also get to know how to hide any unwanted app in your iPhone or iPad so you don’t see it on your screen.
How to delete an application on an iPhone or iPad
Let’s begin by going to the Home Screen ( press the home button to take you there).
Find the icon of the app you want to delete, press and hold it for about 2 seconds until all the icons start to wobble gently. Notice a small circle appear in a grey circle by each icon.
Tap the cross to confirm you want to delete the app. Your app will now be deleted.
Note that this works only for installed apps only. It doesn’t work for pre installed iPhone apps.
How to hide unwanted apps from on an iPhone or iPad
You don’t need an app now but you still don’t want to get rid of it. In this case, hiding the app is the main thing. You can do this by putting it in a folder.
To organize apps into folders, press and hold the icon of the app you want to put into a folder until it starts wobbling.
Drag the app and place it unto a second app you want it to be with in the folder. iOS will automatically generate a title for the folder based on the app’s descriptions. You can tap the name to change it. You can add even more apps you don’t need now into that folder, they’ll be kept there for you.
To take an app out of the folder, Open the particular folder and tap the icon of the app you want to take it out from.
Now drag it out from the folder and place it in the app menu. You’ll now see it in the apps menu.
